Perched on the western tip of Lake Küçükçekmece rests an eight story mixed-use structure with its back facing Istanbul University’s Avcilar Campus. The southeasterly looking courtyard was crafted so residents could enjoy the beauty of Lake Küçükçekmece. The spacious, lively atmosphere is built on top of three separate platforms. The landscaping materials used as a first floor covering enrich the space as the half-indoor/half-outdoor basement, outdoor pool, gym, and recreation room are all situated to take advantage of the spectacular Istanbul view.

Housing has been evaluated in the 3 blocks to include environmental structures, the West side of the park, and a mosque in the remaining block which makes up the smallest units of density; while the other two blocks comprise the larger units. Each block in and of itself has three one common floor garden located at the center of one of the two corners. Ultimately ensuring that all corridors receive natural light and air circulation. A combination of circumstance that enables people on each floor to socialize.

Three sides of the road plotted as ground and mezzanine floors of the peripheral block 3 have been evaluated with the rationale of having front street shops angled to leave a facade on the east side open to a large public space, perhaps even having this open space to be used by university students.
