Efes Hotel, which has important ballrooms, weddings, concerts and events throughout its history, was completely renovated after the 2003 fire and new functions were added when it was opened again in 2007. As the Swissotel Grand Efes, the multi purpose conference center sat 1000 people, ballrooms, meeting rooms, exhibition and exhibition halls, business centers and administrative offices that not only served Swissotel customers but hosting local and international organisations as well. Thus it was designed as an outright convention center. The entrance hall, the core, the outer gate, the grand entrance shed, the bridge that combines the hotel with the spa and the congress center are designed from scratch. The entrance facade has an entirely deaf front outside the meeting rooms, depending on the function of the building. The south side, which overlooks the inner garden and the outdoor pool, and the foyers on each floor are large, is transparent. Precast concrete is preferred as the outer covering material. In the restructuring of the whole congress center, the works of artists such as Jale Yılmabaşar and Bedri Rahmi, who were formerly located in the hotel, were preserved exactly.
